    Tuesday 21 Sept 10.30am – 12pm

    Ages 6-12yrs

    Inspired by exhibiting artist Gabriel Poole’s unique design elements, identifiable shapes and colours, create a mini Poole house! This fun workshop focuses on contrast, shape and structure using charcoal, tape stencilling, watercolour and sharpie.

    Wednesday 22 Sept 10.30 – 11.30am

    Ages 6-10yrs

    Learn some simple rules of perspective drawing and take them into the world of the wild and weird. Create an alternate reality of three dimensional forms using pen and ink, charcoal, pastel and a range of drafting and mark making tools.

    Wednesday 29 Sept 11am – 12pm

    Ages 6-10yrs

    Combine line drawing and some basic tips in creating optical illusions with vibrant paints, rollers and brushes for a workshop that takes shape-making to the next level. Your finished artworks will have people looking twice as you create whole new points of view.

    Techniques in charcoal, stencilling with tape and gold leaf will be explored to celebrate the work of exhibiting artist Gabriel Poole. Combine design elements found in Parisian architecture and add accents in gold pen.

    Wednesday 22 Sept 1 – 3pm

    Ages 10yrs+

    Put your designing mind into action, creating and building through this two-part workshop exploring image transferal, dwelling design, and model construction. Draw inspiration from a collection of house designs and build your own dream structure from modelling materials including balsa wood, firm board, paper and air-dry clay.

    Wednesday 29 Sept 1.30 – 3.30pm

    Ages 10yrs+

    Use special tools and a range of custom materials to build a miniature model of a place from your imagination. Explore the design of villages, towns and cities through a collection of maps and aerial photography, and then undertake your own planning and construction of a scaled version of your vision for a future city or settlement.
