Draw Student Drawing Award 2020

1 August to 4 October 2020

Draw 2020 is a contemporary Drawing Award open to all Year 9 to 12 students living on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie Region. Draw 2020 aims to promote drawing as a fundamental step in arts practice.

Draw 2020 will have FOUR competition categories: Year 9; Year 10; Year 11; Year 12.

A single winner will be announced and awarded per category.

The People’s Choice Award will be awarded to a single winner, selected from any of the four entrance categories.

“In an effort to continue to provide opportunities to artists in these difficult times, we have decided to go ahead with the DRAW STUDENT DRAWING AWARD in 2020, albeit exclusively online. We recognise that the experience of an art work in person cannot be captured on a screen, however we hope that making this opportunity available in some form is better than not going ahead with the prize at all.”
Michael Brennan, Gallery Director, Noosa Regional Gallery
