Masterclass Series 2025
Drawing Through Process
with Laith McGregor
Saturday 3 May
10am – 3pm
$240pp incl. all materials
Based on Laith McGregor’s ‘collage a-day’ method, this masterclass inspires participants to facilitate ideas and momentum for ongoing work, exploring mixed media, conversation, and creation as part of a thoughtful daily drawing practice.
The day will be split into two sessions where participants begin by creating collages while engaging in a conversation on art, life, and the in-between. The second half of the day will focus on drawing skills using the collages as a reference point for further artworks. Using the collages as inspiration, participants will engage in a drawing session using different drawing techniques to help clarify ideas.
This Masterclass is designed to inspire alternate approaches to art practice, harnessing the creative potential of the subconscious as a constructive starting point for art making. Let us cut, copy, paste, make, draw, create, and think together.
