Learn the art of drypoint engraving on perspex including how to use the water-based monoprint technique to create vibrant images.
Print a small edition of your drypoint and produce a number of colourful monoprints. There will be opportunity to investigate the combination of both techniques.
About the Artist
Martin King has had over 50 solo exhibitions throughout Australia and has exhibited in many group exhibitions both in Australia and Internationally. His art practice is underpinned by an abiding interest in the Australian landscape, working across the mediums of drawing, watercolour, printmaking, artist books and animation. King’s works are sensitively drawn and meticulously observed.
Masterclass includes
All required materials including; ink; Perspex plate; etching needles; brushes and paper
Light lunch – There is an opportunity to advise of any dietary requirements when making your booking.
You will walk away with
Each participant will print a small edition of drypoints along with a series of monoprints.
