SQUIGGLA
2 Dec 2023 – 18 Feb 2024
A gymnasium for creative visual thinking using free flow, playful mark making to exercise the creative mind!

Welcome to the Squiggla Making Space! Here, we focus activities around using the visual language of marks, dots and lines in all their infinite variety!
About Squiggla
Squiggla is flexible, open, and free-flowing. Encouraging creative thinking; Squiggla explores the creative process and its benefits for wellbeing for all ages. Non-judgemental; Squiggla removes barriers to participation, inviting participants to break free from the pressure of representational drawing.
“We embrace playfulness through chance and visual exploration so there are no mistakes with Squiggla” says Squiggla Co-Director Sue Gardiner; “In the making process, you will begin to trust and relax, rather than judge and define”.
Through utilising your own intuitive mark making, every participant in the Squiggla Making Space will discover an increasing alertness to the visual world. Families can share in the joy of creating freely and playfully, and adults- the freedom to rediscover their own creative process again.
