2020 has seen unprecedented changes to the ways in which we all live and work.
This has also meant that Noosa Regional Gallery has been unable to remain open
for its usual program of exhibitions.
In an effort to continue to provide opportunities to artists in these difficult times,
we have decided to go ahead with the DRAW STUDENT DRAWING AWARD in 2020,
albeit exclusively online. We recognise that the experience of an art work in person
cannot be captured on a screen, however we hope that making this opportunity
available in some form is better than not going ahead with the prize at all.

Please note that Lyn McCrea and Draw 2020 will be exhibited on a dedicated web page.

Draw 2020 is a contemporary Drawing Award open to all Year 9 to 12 students living on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie Region. Draw 2020 aims to promote drawing as a fundamental step in arts practice.

Draw 2020 will have FOUR competition categories: Year 9; Year 10; Year 11; Year 12.

A single winner will be announced and awarded per category.

The People's Choice Award will be awarded to a single winner, selected from any of the four entrance categories.
