A unique and quirky workshop using recycled leather cuts as our canvas. Stamp, emboss, cut and stitch your way to a customised pieces of wearable art. With guides on the technique of leather stamping, embossing and safe threading, you’ll be free to design your own patterns and words onto something you can carry with you wherever you go.


Reflections Masterclass 

Tuesday 2 Oct. 10am -12pm. Ages 12+

Sharpen your drawing skills while chilling on the banks of the river.Learn techniques in charcoal, pencil, pen and pastel. Study the moving and flowing patterns on the water’s surface and learn how to capture reflection
and light in motion. Inspired by the work of exhibiting artists.



Pass the Pastel - Masterclass for teens
Saturday 17 Nov. 10am-12.30pm. Ages 12+ 
$30 per person includes materials. 

Join artist and tutor Lyndon Hallows for an extensive session drawing and working with pastels.  Sometimes considered an intimidating medium, this workshop will calm any fears and help you utilise pastels with confidence. Create rich tones and shadows, blend and produce realistic drawings by learning about the tools, techniques and attributes of this versatile medium.


Painted Stories in Black and White with local artistEJ Zyla
A community Cube Project
Saturday 1 Dec. 10am - 3pm. Teens - Adults
$50 per person. BYO lunch
Youth aged 10 -14 years free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Get back to basics in this black and white painting workshop that explores creating a visual story inspired by Australian flora and fauna. Learn to use techniques such as dry brush and paint washes on a dark surface.
Play with light and contrast to create detailed paintings in monotone.

Assisted by artist EJ Zyla, participants will each design and paint a cube panel that will join together to create a panoramic scene wrapped around our community cubes to be displayed at the gallery.
